ArmInfo. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during his video conference expressed his hope that the recent processes in the country will lead to the speedy liberalization of the visa regime with the EU. He stressed that this issue should be resolved on the basis of negotiations, recalling the German Chancellor's promise during her visit to Armenia that she would do her best to accelerate this process. At the same time, the Prime Minister explained that some problems arise on this way due to the fact that Armenia is considered a country of illegal migration. "And European countries are very careful about such issues, but during Merkel's visit I told her that after the revolution the number of those who visited Armenia exceeded the number of those who left it, which can become the basis for changing the status of the republic," Pashinyan said, stressing that he highly appreaciates Merkel's visit to Armenia, as he put bilateral relations on a new track.
According to him, during the visit, an agreement was reached to create an agenda of relations. The agenda should be implemented point by point. "I try to build worthy relations with our partners," concluded Pashinyan.
