To note, Samvel Pharmanyan's sister, former pro-rector of Shirak State University Anahit Pharmanyan is charged under Article 178 part 1 of Article 178 (fraud in especially large amounts), clauses 1, 2 and 3 of Part 2 of Article 179 (misappropriation or embezzlement in especially large amounts by a group persons by prior agreement with the use of official position) and clause 1 of Article 189 (embezzlement in especially large amounts) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. According to preliminary data, during 2012-2016 years, the amount of the stolen amount was 19.409.500 AMD.
