ArmInfo. The defense of the CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov, who is being held in Armenia as a defendant in the case on March 1, 2008, petitioned the investigative body to allow him to fly to Moscow to fulfill his official duties.
The legislation of the republic does not provide for an accused who is at large on bail under the pledge of a permanent residence in the republic. At the same time, the law prohibits an accused who is released on bail to leave the republic without the knowledge of the investigative body.
Note that Khchaturov, who occupies the post of the head of the Yerevan garrison in 2008, is accused of overthrowing the constitutional order.
