ArmInfo. The judicial system in Armenia must become truly independent. This June 7, presenting the program of activities of the new government of the country, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
According to him, some judges in their activities used to focus on instructions from Baghramyan, 26 (the residence of the former president was located, and now - the prime minister of the Republic of Armenia - editor's notes). Nikol Pashinyan stressed that he personally decided not to interfere in the affairs of the judges, because otherwise it would be a dictatorship. Judges must make decisions according to the laws in force in the country, and not by obtaining instructions, bribes, demands of the oligarchs. "Those judges who in their activities will be guided solely by the requirements of the law, say to them, in a good way, those who are used to working in the old manner should leave," Nikol Pashinyan stressed.
