ArmInfo. "There are expenses that are necessary for effective work of the government administration," Armenian First Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in response to criticism in social networks as he flew to Dushanbe on the Prime  Minister's plane and with a large delegation.

As Mirozyan noted on his Facebook page, otherwise an Armenian  delegation of 20 people, including a group of journalists, would have  to fly through Moscow by different flights. In this case, as he  pointed out, if you calculate the costs for air tickets, food and a  hotel, in the end, "almost the same amount." "The most important  thing is that we would be forced to leave on May 30 and return on  June 2. The waste of two working days would be a real luxury for me.  I'm sorry, but I cannot afford it on days when my work schedule is so  saturated when I go to work early in the morning and return home late  at night," Mirzoyan wrote.

He reminded that saving of financial resources is one of the  priorities of the government. "We are consistently moving in this  direction, at the same time, we must understand that there are  expenditures that are necessary for the effective functioning of the  government administration and, why not, for a worthy representation  of our country," he said.

On June 1, the media leaked information that the first deputy premier  Ararat Mirzoyan flew to Dushanbe on the prime minister's plane and  with a large delegation. This flight cost the state 20 million AMD.   Meanwhile, on the eve, the head of the apparatus of the government,  Eduard Aghajanyan accused the former government of extreme fund  waste, "especially with regard to business trips and official  vehicles." "The new Cabinet will save much more," he assured. As for  the business trips, Aghajanyan stated that earlier RPA  representatives traveled business class. He said that Deputy Prime  Minister Tigran Avinyan flew to Astana alone and  by economclass,  without a delegation. "This, of course, will reduce the government's  expenses," Aghajanyan concluded.
