On May 25, Ara Babloyan, the head of the Armenian parliament, told journalists on the margins of the 27th session of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.
"This issue was not discussed, and now it is not on the agenda," he said.
Answering the question about relations with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, considering that earlier there was tension in their relations, Babloyan said: "Our human relations never were not tense. As in civilized countries and societies, we also have everything clearly regulated. I, as speaker of the National Assembly, regulating the issues on the agenda of the National Assembly, show equal treatment to all political forces and deputies. As a member of the RPA have a political position that coincides with the party line."
To the journalists' observation, if the businessmen of the RPA are afraid of being imprisoned, in connection with the checks initiated by the National Security Service to eradicate corruption, Babloyan called for respect for human rights, the rights of those people who pay taxes and contribute to the development of the country.
