On May 25, Head of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Hrayr Tovmasyan stated in a conversation with journalists on the margins of the 27th session of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, in response to a question about the disagreements with Nikol Pashinyan and the possibility of cooperation.
"The Constitutional Court does not cooperate with any political force, the Constitutional Court fulfills its functions," said the head of the Constitutional Court. Answering the question whether the events in April of this year were the consequence of the constitution created in his co-authorship, Tovmasyan noted that the Constitution, in the creation of which he participated, was highly appreciated by domestic and foreign authoritative experts, and did not arouse their apprehensions. Tovmasyan also said that he does not intend to resign from the post of the head of the Constitutional Court. Asked whether he sees Vahe Grigoryan as a member of the court, Tovmasyan said he sees anyone who will receive assistance from 3/5 of the National Assembly. On his assurance, he has no leverage.
