ArmInfo. "I am a public servant, and my job is to work under any government." Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan stated in an interview with journalists, answering the question whether he is ready to work in the new government. Kocharian noted that the civil servant should serve not the individual, but the state, and if his service is useful, he is ready to work. Touching upon the national movement, the deputy minister said: "Good preconditions for progress have been made in all spheres, including foreign policy, since, in my opinion, now more will be considered with Armenia than before."
Asked about what exactly will change in foreign policy, Shavarsh Kocharyan said: "Basically everything will remain the same as it was, however, the emphasis will be put on the element of dignity in the future." That is, I can note that, in general, a balanced foreign policy is required, but it should be more dignified and consistent in achieving equality, as well as in promoting our interests both in bilateral and multilateral formats, "the Deputy Foreign Minister concluded.
