ArmInfo. Pupils of the Yerevan school number 11, named after Monte Melkonyan, as well as their parents gathered in the schoolyard, demanding the resignation of the school's director Ruzan Azinyan.
The students claim that the director forbade them to take part in the protest actions organized by the leader of the "Make a step" movement, Nikol Pashinyan. Students chant "Azizyan, go away" and "Nichol Prime Minister."
In turn, the director of the school, Ruzan Azizyan, said that all that was said was a lie, and she did not forbid pupils to participate in protest actions. "Everything that was organized against Serzh Sargsyan is now continuing against schools, the schools must be apolitical," Azizyan said.
Commenting on the journalists' remark that David Hazhakyan, a member of the Council of Elders of the Yelk faction, announced that they will apply to the mayor's office demanding her resignation, the director said that law and order are in force and she will wait until the decision of the mayor's office. It should be noted that Ruzan Azizyan is a member of the RPA party.
