Garegin II urged the authorities and the opposition to act within the  framework of the law and resolve the current situation by coming to  an understanding

"Dear compatriots, during the elections of the Prime Minister in the  parliament, there was not a single solution, in the country the  situation continues to be tense and causes concern." I call on the  authorities and the opposition to act within the law, to find a  solution through mutual understanding, to protect our people from  clashes. parliamentary factions through the negotiations to continue  to make efforts to overcome the current situation.We urge our people  to be solidary, vigilant and not succumb to provocations. ie, to  awaken in us the hatred and hostility that the situation was resolved  on the basis of a wise approach, in the spirit of love and  understanding, we pray for peace in our country, the safety of our  people ", Catholicos's statement reads.
