ArmInfo.The new government of Armenia will tackle the problem of over-loaning the population and the huge debts that they have accumulated in loan institutions. On May 1, from the rostrum of the parliament, candidate for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this.
According to him, commercial banks and loan organizations offer new loan resources to citizens of Armenia, who were insolvent when repaying their loans, in order to pay off already attracted loans. As a result, today the total indebtedness of individuals is approaching the astronomical sum. In this connection, the new government intends to hold negotiations with commercial banks and credit organizations on the possible repayment of previously attracted credit resources. "The state should finance the reasonable damage of citizens, and for this it is necessary to sharply increase the state budget revenues," Pashinyan said, adding that the opportunities for this are more than serious.
