ArmInfo.The leader of the Tsaroukyan block Gagik Tsaroukyan will not be nominated for the post of Prime Minister of Armenia on May 1 this year. This was stated by Tsaroukyan in an interview with the "Urvagits" program of Kentron TV company.
"Tsaroukyan will not be nominated for the post of Prime Minister of Armenia. Moreover, the bloc will support the candidacy of the leader of the "Make a step" movement, MP of the Yelk faction Nikol Pashinyan, "the leader of the Urvagits program Petros Ghazaryan wrote on his Facebook page.
The Republican Party will also not nominate its candidate for the post of prime minister in the May 1 elections. This was stated by the party's spokesman, vice speaker of parliament Eduard Sharmazanov. He noted that the situation in the country has changed and for them the interests of the state are above all, and they cannot lead the country to upheavals. Thus, the only candidate for the post of prime minister is Nikol Pashinyan.
