However, there will be no heads of state or official delegations of foreign countries at the ceremony. ArmInfo was informed about this in the office of the 4th president.
It is noteworthy that the procedure for accrediting the media at the inauguration ceremony of the 4th President will be different this time. Simple journalists will not attend the ceremony. They will be able to cover it by watching the live broadcast on Public Television, or, as Arsen Babayan, the head of the Public Relations Department of the National Assembly of Armenia, told journalists in the interview with ArmInfo, "all necessary conditions will be created for journalists in one of the parliamentary audiences to cover the ceremony".
Babayan also said that only the heads or chief editors of the leading media - television, print and online media, will be invited to the ceremony, stressing that the criterion of the leader is determined by the high level of their professionalism. "Experts of the highest class will be invited to the ceremony," Babayan explained.
In general, the list of invited guests should be de jure approved by NA Speaker Ara Babloyan.
The inauguration ceremony should begin with the welcoming speech of the presiding judge at the special meeting of the National Assembly, then the state flag of the Republic of Armenia, the symbol of the presidential power, the original of the Constitution and the Bible of the Virgin should be brought into the hall.
In accordance with the established procedure, the newly elected president must utter an oath, abreast of the Constitution and the Bible. Then the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, and the president himself, will deliver a speech. When the session is closed, the symbols of Armenia and the Bible are taken from the audience.
