On March 28 at a press conference the representative of the ARF Supreme Body "Dashnaktsutyun" Arsen Hambartsumian stated.
Hambardzumyan noted that more than 100 representatives of "Dashnaktsutyun" took part in the session of the Supreme Council of the party, including representatives from Artsakh, Canada and other countries. According to Ambartsumian, the issues that were connected with the realizations of social transformations in the country were also confirmed. In particular-creating new jobs, strengthening democracy in the country, as well as increasing the level of trust of Armenian citizens to the authorities.
Referring to the new composition of the ARF Supreme Body "Dashnaktsutyun", Ambartsumian noted that earlier the Organ consisted of 13 people, but now the number of members has been reduced to 9, while 6 are representatives of a new generation. "Members of our party have come to the conclusion that representatives of the new generation must continue our activities, so we are preparing a worthy replacement for our young representatives of the party to the Supreme Body, among other things, as representatives of our party in the National Assembly and the Armenian government are very busy and can not devote enough time to the affairs of the party, we decided that in this way we will be able to remove a certain burden from their shoulders, "concluded Hambardzumyan.
