Aghvan Vardanyan: The authorities are not "lying around" in the  Freedom Square in Yerevan

ArmInfo.The authorities did not  "roll around" and will not "roll" in the Freedom Square in Yerevan.  On March 26 at a briefing in the National Assembly of Armenia the  secretary of the parliamentary faction of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun  coalition party Aghvan Vardanyan stated in connection with the  statement of the head of the Elk faction Nikol Pashinyan that after  the expiration of the term of office of Serzh Sargsyan on April 9 the  power will be "discarded" on the square, and the people will only  remain "come and take it."

Vardanyan noted that such phrases already sounded more than once. "If  they can, then let them take power, but I want to note that even  after the expiration of the presidential powers of Serzh Sargsyan and  before the election of the new prime minister, every state body and  system will fulfill their immediate duties," the deputy said.

In turn, Gevorg Gorgisyan, a member of the "Enlightened Armenia"  party, referring to the struggle of the opposition against the  possible premiership of Serzh Sargsyan, said that within his bloc  there is no consensus on how to counter this. According to him, the  "Enlightened Armenia" party, in contrast to the "Civil Treaty", is  not a supporter of street fighting and believes that it needs to be  deployed inside the parliament by nominating its own candidate for  the post of prime minister. "Our main goal is to change the system as  a whole.No candidate for premieres from the RPA, whether Serge  Sargsyan or Samvel Farmanyan will not change the current situation in  the country, therefore, we are not acceptable to any of the  candidates from the ruling party. Republican candidates by their own  methods, "Gorgisyan said.

In turn, the head of the ruling Republican Party faction Vahram  Baghdasaryan stated that the RPA will accept any constitutional forms  of opposition struggle with the authorities, while admitting that he  is "more to the heart" of the parliamentary struggle. According to  him, the change of power can also be carried out within the  parliament, without resorting to street fighting, for example, by  nominating an opposition candidate for the premiere. At the same  time, he stressed that the government does not accept the armed  struggle, which will be suppressed in any of its manifestations.

It should be noted that on April 9, President Serzh Sargsyan's  presidential term ends. The latter recently in his interview did not  rule out the possibility of his nomination for the post of prime  minister after the expiration of presidential powers on the condition  that, in addition to state administration, he will actively train  young personnel. The opposition of Armenia declared its intention to  fight against its reproduction, however, despite the identity of the  political agenda, the opposition forces cannot come to a consensus on  the methods of struggle.
