Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in connection with the crash of the Russian An-26 transport aircraft that took place in Syria upon landing at the airfield at Khmeimim. This was reported by the presidential press service.
According to the source, on behalf of the entire Armenian people and on his own behalf, President Sargsyan conveyed deep condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.
Note that on March 6 in Syria, the Russian transport aircraft An-26 crashed. On board were Russian military men - 33 passengers and six crew members, all of them were killed. The plane was flying from Aleppo to Khmeimim.
