Armen Sargsyan held a number of meetings with representatives of the  Armenian community of Lebanon

ArmInfo.Candidate for President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan in Lebanon held a number of meetings with representatives of the Armenian community.

Within the framework of the visit, Sarkisian also met with Catholicos  of the Great House of Cilicia Aram the 1st. Aram the 1st welcomed  Sarkisian as a presidential candidate, noting that the latter is   familiar with the internal life of Armenia, with the life of the  Diaspora, has a rich experience in academic and economic spheres, as  well as in relations with international circles. He expressed hope  that the public confidence in Sargsyan will contribute to the  prosperity of Armenia.

At the Armenian Embassy in Lebanon, Armen Sargsyan attended the  opening of Zohrab Margaryan's photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th  anniversary of the Karabakh liberation movement, organized by the  embassy and representation of the Artsakh Republic in the Middle  East.

In his speech, Sargsyan noted the great importance of the heroic  struggle of the Artsakh people for their independence. The  presidential candidate stressed that despite the victories achieved,  Armenia and Artsakh still face many problems, and daily hard work is  needed to overcome them. 

On February 25, Sargsyan met with representatives of the ARF  "Dashnaktsutyun" party, the Social- Democratic Party "Hnchakyan" and  the Ramkavar Azatakan Party. The meeting discussed a number of  topical issues related to the foreign and domestic policies of the  Republic of Armenia.

 Sargsyan presented his vision of overcoming the problems facing  Armenia, ensuring the development of the country, stressing the  priorities that must be implemented in the near future.
