Within the charity event "Mandarin", organized by Polymetal, 40  children in Kapan received New Year gifts

Within the framework of this event, 40 children from the "Family and  Child Support Center" received gifts from Santa Claus and Snow  Maiden, which were prepared by Kapansky mining for children. Pupils  of the Center, mostly children from a socially disadvantaged family,  wrote letters to Father Frost in advance, which the coordinator of  the event had gathered. Children's desires were different - a  bicycle, a phone, winter and sports clothes, etc. Desires were  recorded on toys in the form of mandarins with photos of children,  and hung on a corporate Christmas tree. Employees of the company  approached the tree and decided themselves which tangerine to take  away and whose dream to carry out. Gifts were purchased both by  employees individually and in groups.  Projects within the framework  of the social activities of CJSC Kapan GOK include also charitable  actions from the side of the enterprise, the total volume of which  for 2017 exceeded 50 million AMD, and social partnership with Kapan  community, within the framework of which the agreement on social and  economic cooperation with the community was concluded and for the  year of 2017 115 million drams were invested in the community.
