ArmInfo. The State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin stated that the allied states of Russia, including Armenia, as a sovereign state, have the right to develop contacts with other countries and unions.
According to him, this is quite natural in the 21st century. "We never put our neighbors and allies in front of the choice with whom you" are with us or with them. "But we have the right to expect the priority of allied relations," said Grigory Karasin in an interview with Kommersant, answering a question about the relationship Russia to a new agreement between Armenia and the European Union.
At the same time, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia stressed that the agreements signed in other formats, including the EU's Eastern Partnership, should not violate the obligations that the countries previously agreed upon.
