Armenia appealed to Georgia with a request for the extradition of  persons participating in a shootout at the Tufenkyan Hotel

The Prosecutor's Office of Armenia appealed to the Georgian colleagues with a request for the extradition of two persons wanted in connection with the  crime committed on September 14 in Yerevan. Earlier, it became known that as a result of joint large-scale  operational and effective events conducted by the police and the  National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, in close  cooperation with the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, on  October 29, the alleged participants in the shooting at the Tufenkyan  Hotel Albert Blbulian (1982 and Armen Karadavidov (1984). "At the  moment, the procedure for extraditing Albert Blbulian and Armen  Karadavid to Armenia is being discussed," the RA Police said.  Recall  that on September 14, a firefight occurred at the Tufenkyan Hotel in  the center of Yerevan. Rafik Khachatryan, Albert Blbulian and Armen  Karadavidov opened fire from the Makarov and AK pistol for two  citizens, as a result of the incident Garik Mosinyan was killed, the  second citizen was injured. Within the framework of the criminal case  on September 22, Rafik Khachatryan, one of the three suspects in the  shootings case, was detained. Albert Blbulian and Armen Karadavidov  were put on the wanted list.
