"The European Union will provide Armenia with budgetary grants in the amount of 11 million euros in 2018 for the implementation of four major programs," Atom Janjughazyan, First Deputy Finance Minister, said at a joint meeting of the parliamentary commissions on European integration and financial, credit and budget issues.
According to him, these grant programs include such areas as the provision and protection of human rights, public finance reforms, as well as measures for professional reorientation and professional development of citizens to meet demand in the labor market. "Thus, the European Union is ready to support the government in its intention to implement reforms in various spheres," the deputy minister stressed.
