According to the press service of the Border Guard Directorate of the  Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Armenia, on  October 30, more than 40 plastic bags with lamb fat were found by  servicemen of the Armavir Frontier Detachment on the bank of the  Araks River, in the immediate vicinity of the state border. "The  total weight of the discovered" goods "is more than 1,700 kg.In the  course of the inspection of the scene, a new rubber boat and a kapron  rope were found in the bushes.On the preliminary data, the unknowns  planned to smuggle the" goods "across the border. The staff of the  National Security Service of Armenia was invited to the scene. At the  moment, the competent authorities are carrying out a set of measures  to identify those involved in the commission of the offense, "the  ministry said.
