Member of Armenian delegation to PACE: Demanding tolerance and understanding from the international community, Aliyev demonstrates the upper hand of cynicism and impudence

ArmInfo. Demanding tolerance and understanding from the  international community, in particular European structures to their  anti-democratic, xenophobic, dictatorial policies, Aliyev  demonstrates the limit of arrogance. This opinion was expressed by  Naira Zohrabyan, head of the commission on the issues of European  integration of the National Assembly of Armenia, member of the  Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of  Europe, commenting on Aliyev's statement that the Council of Europe  applies double standards and a differentiated approach to Armenia and  Azerbaijan.

Zahrabyan noted that Aliyev's cynicism, passes all imaginable and  unthinkable borders. "I will say even more, I believe that due to the  permissiveness and loyal attitude of the European structures to the  Aliyev regime, Azerbaijan has become a serious threat to the  international community, threatening its anti- democratic system, the  threat that spreads its corruption metastases in European  structures," the MP stressed. As an example, she was led by the fact  that a few days ago the European Parliament decided to launch an  investigation into the scandalous corruption scandal, which was  called "Azerbaijan" in the media which, with the help of fictitious  companies in Great Britain, laundered 2.9 billion dollars, which was  used to bribe European politicians who lobbied Azerbaijan's interests  in the EU and blocked resolutions condemning human rights violations  in the former Soviet republic.

"Corruption metastases of Azerbaijan did not even bypass Unesco,"  Zohrabyan said, adding that the UNESKO chief secretary recently had  to resign because her husband was involved in a corruption scandal  involving Azerbaijan. The Armenian MP also advised the international structures to study  the flights of Azerbaijani airlines, which, under cover of diplomatic  flights, made flights to Syria, Afghanistan, Congo and Iraq and  supplied weapons to the militants.

Zohrabyan also drew attention to the fact that immediately after the  transfer of the murderer of the Armenian officer Ramil Safarov to the  accounts of the figures close to the government of Hungary, a large  amount of money was transferred from the accounts of various  Azerbaijani structures. As a whole, according to her, $ 7.600.000 was  transferred.  As for the fact that Aliyev asked international  organizations to impose sanctions against Armenia for the settlement  of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the deputy stated that Aliyev acts  according to the saying "the best defense is an attack."
