Political expert: Anti Russian initiative of Yelk bloc promotes  process of transfer of power from Serzh Sargsyan to Serzh Sargsyan

ArmInfo. The anti-Russian initiative of Yelk bloc promotes the process of transferring power from President Serzh Sargsyan to Serzh Sargsyan to the Prime Minister. The deputy chairman of the Heritage party Armen Martirosyan expressed such an opinion to ArmInfo, commenting on the initiative of the Yelk faction on Armenia's withdrawal from the Eurasian Union.

At the meeting on October 4, the deputies of the National Assembly of  Armenia rejected the initiative of the Yelk bloc to establish a  temporary parliamentary commission to discuss the possibility of  Armenia withdrawing from the EEU. Vice Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, in  particular, stated that Armenia's membership in the CSTO and the EEU  today is on the contrary in the stage of deepening.

"The Armenian national assembly of the VI convocation does not  contain pro-Western forces in its essence, the deputies represent in  general the pro-Russian forces." In the light of the almost complete  submission of the authorities of the republic to Moscow, it is not  necessary to expect real results in the form of suspension of  Eurasian integration of Armenia from such an initiative prospects in  Armenia, at least, it will be necessary to change the power, "the  politician is convinced.

In this light, Martirosyan considers "separatist" initiatives Yelk  exclusively in the light of internal political processes, according  to his estimates, the actual foreign policy agenda of Yerevan is  certainly formed not exactly within the walls of the parliament.  According to him, the centrifugal initiative Yelk is profitable and  proceeds from the interests of the incumbent Armenian president, who  intends to become prime minister in the future.

"With such horrors, Sargsyan is once again charging himself to the  Moscow patrons, once again stressing how difficult it will be for  them to deal with Armenians without him, which the current government  is comfortable with, which has been repeatedly demonstrated in the  past," Martirosyan said.
