ArmInfo. Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not want to comment on the information about the refusal  of Tbilisi to render an agreement to  candidate for the post of RA  Ambassador in Georgia, deputy director of the Institute "Caucasus" Sergei Minasyan.

In a conversation with the correspondent of ArmInfo, the RA MFA  Spokesman Tigran Balayan stated in particular that he does not want  to address a specific issue, adding that the process of obtaining and  granting an agreement  in diplomatic training is not a public one, as  a result of which the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, in its practice  did not act on this account with any comments, refutations or  confirmations, and henceforth the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will  continue to adhere to this practice. "All the other rumors are  rumors," Balayan assured.

From Minasyan himself, it was not possible to receive a comment  regarding the information published in the media about his refusal to  agrarian from Tbilisi.  It should be noted that in the media recently  information has been actively exaggerated that official Tbilisi has  finally refused to agrarian for the post of RA Ambassador to Georgia  Sergey Minasyan. The reason for the media is the fact that,  allegedly, Minasyan is a "pro-Russian" expert, and his candidacy was  rejected by the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

Meanwhile, in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent, the deputy  from the ruling Republican Party, the co-chairman of the Javakhq  compatriot Shirak Torosyan also said that, according to his reliable  information, Minasyan was indeed denied agreement. 

We also note that according to media reports, the current RA  Ambassador to Georgia, the multiple world champion and Olympic  weightlifting champion Yuri Vardanyan has serious health problems, as  a result of which he does not go to work.
