Armenian Defense Minister promised to solve the housing issue of the  families of the dead servicemen till the end of the year

ArmInfo.Social problems of servicemen are in the focus of attention of the Ministry of Defense. Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan announced this at a press  conference in Yerevan on October 2.

"This applies to both employees and families of dead servicemen and  disabled soldiers. As you remember, a special fund was created to  help the families of the deceased and disabled people (popularly  known as the <1000 dram> -Red.), Which fully justified itself.  Tomorrow a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Fund will  be held. We also intend to visit families, to whom the Fund has  already provided assistance, "Sargsyan said.

At the same time, he stressed that another issue that is at the  center of the defense ministry's attention is the provision of  apartments for invalids and families of deceased servicemen. <Lists  exist for many years, but the issue has not been resolved. We intend  to accomplish this task by the end of this year. In Yerevan, the  problem will be solved with the help of warrants for apartments in  houses under construction, and in regions with certificates, "the  head of the defense department said.

Commenting on the reshuffle in the Armed Forces, Sargsyan noted that  it was a question of rotation.  According to him, this allows us to  form universal forces for solving problems. <There will be more  changes, this rotation, no need to look for any other subtext. This  is a natural process, "he said.
