ArmInfo.The first session of Constitutional Court on ANP-PPA claim to review the parliamentary elections results will take place on April 25, Hovhannes Papikyan, CC press secretary informed ArmInfo.
According to him, the sentencing procedure will be drawn in accordance to law during 15 days after receiving the claim. ?CC received the claim on April 14, thus, the judgment will be drawn until April 29?, he explained.
To mention, yesterday CEC reviewed the appropriate application submitted by the bloc, comprising 120 pages, but rejected it due to the unavailability of elections falsifications proofs. Earlier ANC-PPA presented application to the CEC on declaring April 2 parliamentary elections results invalid in view of all- round violations of electoral legislation, massive bribery to citizens, and wide use of administrative resources to the good of the ruling party. The bloc promised to present correspondent application to the Armenian CC.
To note, according to CEC data 1 mln 575 thousand citizens (60.93%)from 2. 587.706 took part in the elections. The Parliament will have 105 lawmakers. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia receives 58 mandates, three from which representatives of national minorities (Assyrian, Kurds and Yezid), Tsaroukyan bloc 31 mandates, 1 representative from Russian community, Yelk-9, ARFD Dashnaktsutyun 7 mandates. Pre electoral bloc ANC-PPA did not enter the Parliament, as it received only 1.65% votes.
