ArmInfo. The April 2 parliamentary elections took place in an atmosphere of massive and systemic violations. This is stated in the statement of the ANC-PPA pre- electoral bloc, which ArmInfo received.
According to the source, the day of the elections was a violation. Elections were accompanied by mass distribution of pre-electoral bribes, illegal collection of passports and identification cards of citizens, inaction of law enforcement bodies. In addition, according to the authors of the statement, during the election, terror was observed against people, the use of administrative resources and the use of crime in order to massly suppress the will of citizens. With the assistance of the police, there was a re-registration of voters. At the polling stations there was an artificial accumulation of people, which contradicts the provisions of the current legislation. In addition, the secrecy of the vote was violated through the use of colored and numbered papers. There were also cases of repeated voting, the use of violence against journalists, proxies and observers.
The ANC-PPA bloc decided to appeal the results of the parliamentary elections. In this regard, the bloc intends to apply to the Constitutional Court with a demand to declare the elections illegal.
