President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated President Serzh  Sargsyan on the victory of the RPA

ArmInfo.President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to the President of Armenia, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia  Serzh Sargsyan on the victory of the RPA at the parliamentary  elections held on April 2. The congratulation reads as follows: 

 "Distinguished Serzh Azatovich, Please accept my sincere  congratulation on the victory of the Republican Party at the  elections to the National Assembly of Armenia.

 The results of the popular vote have fully reasserted the high level  of trust which you personally and the Party headed by you have among  the citizens of Armenia. It also acknowledges your contribution to  the resolution of the current problems to ensure the social and  economic development of the country, protection of Armenia's national  interests. 

 I am confident that the activities of the new National Assembly will  further enhance the friendly and allied relations existing between  our countries. 

 I take this opportunity to wish you and your team-mates new success  and I wish well-being and prosperity to the brotherly people of  Armenia," reads the congratulatory message of the President of the  Russian Federation.  To remind, parliamentary elections were held in  Armenia on Artil 2.  Five  political parties and four blocs  participated to election mentioned. This elections was the first  after the Constitutional Reforms of 2015. 

 According to Central Electoral Commission, the distribution   of  forces is: RPA-771.247 votes or 49.12% Tsaroukyan bloc-428.965 or    27.32%, Yelk bloc 122.049 or 7.77%, ARFD 103.173 or 6.57%/ Armenian  Revival-58.277 or 3.71%, ORO-32.054 or 2.07%, Congress PPA -25.957 or    1.65 %, Free Democrats - 14.746 or 0.9%, Communist Party 11.745 or    0.75 %. The ruling Republican Party will receive 55 mandates,   Tsaroukyan-30,  Yelk-9, ARFD-7
