According to him, the basement of ideas being discussed currently are the suggestions developed jointly by OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries. " To be more exact, those are the suggestions voiced in respect to Karabakh settlement by Presidents of Russia, United States and France. All those suggestions are well known. Without rejecting the idea in common, the parties have different visions of those implementation consequence. There is no word about shifting the idea mentioned to any other plan, which could essentially change the principles developed by co-chairs. The main thing is to get to legal documents assuming certainly stated liabilities,' the head of Russian foreign entity accentuated.
He reminded also that Russia, United States and France are co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group, which is the main negotiations platform in respect to Karabakh conflict settlement. This 'trinity' was formed in 1997, and since that time its work is based on the team work principles. " I have already spoken about the joint statements at the highest level, aimed at the support to find mutually acceptable solutions. There is a sustainable cooperation also in the aspect of foreign entities joint activities. The best example is the Armenian-Azerbaijani summit held based on intitative of the US Secretary of State within the participation of Russian Foreign Minister and the French Foreign Ministry State Secretary on European Affairs. I think that this team-based approach is the evidence of how we could and how we should act in respect to any international conflicts. I hope our tight cooperation with Washington and with Paris on Karabakh conflict settlement will be continued," Lavrov accentuated.
