ArmInfo.Artur Sargsyan`s death report causes people`s protests against law enforcement bodies. He delivered to the members of the "Sasna Tsrer" group food during the "protest" capture of the Patrol Police Service in Yerevan on July  17 last year.  

During the rally-march organized by the initiative group in the  center of the capital of Armenia, calls on justice and punishment of  the guilty were heard. The protesters chanted the slogans "Serzhik  the murderer" (Armenian President - Ed), "The Prosecutor General to  resign". The protestors stated their intention to organize from today  a 24-hour sit-down strike demanding the resignation of the head of  state. They called on Armenian citizens to gather tomorrow at Freedom  Square to express their attitude to this tragic incident.

Reinforced police escorted the protestors. The Deputy Police Chief of  Yerevan Valeri Osipyan called on them not to tense the situation.  According to him, the Prosecutor General's Office will make a  statement as soon as possible. "Today, now is not the time for such  an action", tried to calm the protestors Valeri Osipyan.   

To note, today with the words of condolence "ORO"  (Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian) pre-election bloc made a statement.  

According to the Yerevan Medical Center "Armenia" doctors' report, on  March 15 Arthur Sargsyan was hospitalized and operated on due to a  serious malfunction in the work of the gastrointestinal tract, and on  March 16 died in intensive care from cardiac arrest. Sargsyan was  detained and was in the penitentiary facility "Hospital for  convicts". On March 5, the Prosecutor General of Armenia granted the  petition of the Armenian deputies and changed the measure of  restraint in his respect from arrest to a written undertaking not to  leave because of poor health. To recall, Arthur Sargsyan was accused  of promoting the activities of the group "Sasna Tsrer". Sargsyan was  arrested and then released under a subscription, as he suffered from  a number of serious diseases incompatible with his arrest. However,  on 9 February he was arrested again because of "violation of the  conditions of execution of the preventive measure". After that,  Sargsyan went on a hunger strike, his health deteriorated every day.  On March 16, he was taken to the clinic in extremely serious  condition.
