ArmInfo.Starting from February 6, The central Electoral Commission of Armenia starts receiving political factions and parties' documents for the participation in parliamentary Elections scheduled for April 2. The registration will be conducted from February 16 to 26. But there is a need to note that political factions haven't shaped yet the formats of their participation in elections, as well as haven't prepared proportional and rating lists yet.
To remind, Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Armenia, on December 29, 2016 signed the order on parliamentary Elections to be held in Armenia on April 2, 2017. The Central Electoral Committee on January 9 approved the schedule of general arrangements on preparations to National Assembly elections, which will be the first republican elections after the Constitutional referendum held on December 6, 2016. Armenia will change the Presidential model of administration to parliamentary Governance.
