ArmInfo. Saida Huseinova, mother of Azerbaijani raider Elnur Husseinzade, who was captured on February 1, refuted the statement by Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry, according to which her son did not serve in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
Spokesman of NKR President David Babayan commented on the raider attack initiated by Azerbaijani Armed Forces on February 1, at 3:00pm in northern direction of the Line of Contact, during which a serviceman of the Army Elnur Husseinzade (born in 1995) was captured. Babayan stated that nothing threatens Elnur Husseinzade's life and health in Artsakh.
In a video spread in Internet Huseynova informed that his son has in fact finished his service in the army, however four months ago he started additional service. He visited home on January 31 last time.
"However, last night we received a call from the army unit, in which he was servicing and were told that he has not returned to the unit and was captured. When I asked how do they know that, they replied that they learnt about captivity from the Internet. I replied that my son is their soldier and they must know where he has gone and when he will return. By now there is no news from him", Saida Huseynova informed.
When information was spread that another Azerbaijani raider has been captured Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry stated that during his service Elnur Husseinzade had systematically violated discipline and noted that he was not servicing in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan at the moment.
