Tatoyan noted that the Ministry of Education and Science held relevant debates. He added that the Ombudsman's Office will take consistent steps to restore the cadets' rights.
To note, on Nov 28 the cadets of Poqr Mher held a protest action, demanding their headmaster Vahagn Yakhmuryan's resignation. On the same day, Armenian Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan set up a working group to survey the situation around Poqr Mher. Vahagn Yakhmuryan was appointed headmaster about a month ago. The cadets say that after the appointment the atmosphere at Poqr Mher has abruptly changed for the worse, and the attitude of the officers towards the cadets has also deteriorated.
