Serzh  Sargsyan: US  election results not to cause any changes in Armenian-American relation

ArmInfo. No changes expected in Armenian-American relations even after US Presidential elections, stated  Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan in his interview to the Sky News Arabia.

According to President, all the countries in the world are interconnected, and small economies have more dependence on external signals. Regarding the US Election results, Armenian President said that Armenia has no concerns   no concerns,  with that, since Armenia has  very good friendly ties with the United States, and  relations developing progressively over the past 25 years. " We have equally good relations with both the Democratic and Republican parties. As you know, there are various Armenians living in the United States, who have achieved great success.  The U.S. Congressmen have Armenian friends and Armenians have Congressmen friends - people who are part of the friendship groups formed both in the Senate and House of Representatives - with whom we have always been in good relations," President said.

Sargsyan also noted that he predicts no significant changes in the Armenian-American relations after the U.S. presidential elections. "I am sure that our relations will develop well. Our inter-political situation is more impacted by the events taking place in the Middle East, since our compatriots who live there take direct part in them. In this context, these events are more sensitive to us," he said.
