Armenian Parliament Vice Speaker: "International recognition of  Nagorno Karabakh is our prior task"

ArmInfo.  Peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a prior task of all the parliamentarians of Armenia, Eduard Sharmzanov, Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament said when meeting his Karabakh counterpart Ashot Ghulyan in Stepanakert, capital of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, according to the parliament press-office. 

"We are working actively on all international platforms to present  the essence of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, inevitability of  exercising the people's right to self-determination, as well as  strongly condemning the destructive and criminal policy of  Azerbaijan.  We would like to assure you that the parliamentary  delegation of the Armenian National Assembly will do everything  possible to protect the just interest of the Armenians of Artsakh on  all platforms. The international recognition of Nagorno Karabakh is  our prior task," Sharmazanov said.

To that end, the sides made a point of the active cooperation of the  Armenian and Karabakh lawmakers.
