The Russian-Armenian allied relations are based on common historical, cultural, spiritual values, and centuries-old tradition of friendship and neighborhood, Russian President Vladimir Putin says in his address to the participants and guests at the Fifth Russian- Armenian Interregional Forum and Eurasian Partnership International Forum in Yerevan.
The President's address was read out by Russian Minister of Transport, Co-Chair of the Russian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission Maxim Sokolov. The address says that the Russian-Armenian cooperation is actively developing in industry, economy, trade, expansion of humanitarian, scientific and educational contacts. "I hope the proposals and recommendations worked out during open constructive discussions will enhance the Russian-Armenian dialogue, improve the business climate and strengthen the cooperation in the entire Eurasian space," the address says.
To note, the key goal of the Fifth Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum is to contribute to further development of the Russian-Armenian allied relations in the context of establishment of bilateral interactions mechanisms at the interregional level. The forum will give a fresh impetus to the bilateral cooperation between Russia and Armenia, and will improve the business environment and strengthen the interaction between the two countries' provinces.
The goal of the First International Forum of Eurasian Partnership is to foster the integration processes of bilateral and multilateral trade and economic partnership in the Eurasian space involving the Eurasian Economic Union, China, India, Iran, CIS, SCO, and other interested states and integration structures.
