ArmInfo. The Embassy of France in Armenia and the History Museum of Armenia are pleased to announce the official launch of an unprecedented educational and restoration program aimed at preserving and restoring machine-created works of art. This was announced in a statement by the French Embassy in Armenia.
This joint initiative, which will take place from November 3 to 13, 2026, at the History Museum of Armenia, is an important step in developing cultural cooperation between France and Armenia and demonstrates France's continued commitment to preserving world heritage. Under the guidance of five French women restorers, seventeen Armenian specialists and students will have the opportunity to undergo professional training in the restoration of cultural heritage. The program aims not only to preserve works of art but also to impart professional restoration skills. It reflects a shared commitment to preserving and developing local professional capacity in the field of art conservation.
To share this personal and professional experience with the public and specialists in the field, the French Embassy in Armenia and the History Museum of Armenia are planning a series of events, including an exhibition in December, preceded by a day of thematic professional discussions, the production of a documentary film, the publication of a catalog, and study tours as part of a seminar by prior arrangement.
