The Catholicos of All Armenians discussed inter-church dialogue with the Primate of the Anglican Church

ArmInfo. Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received Bishop Graham Barham Usher, head of the Anglican Church delegation participating in the COP17 conference, at the Mother See of Etchmiadzin.

According to the press office of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin, during the meeting, the Catholicos of All Armenians noted with satisfaction the friendly relations between the Armenian Apostolic and Anglican Churches, expressing gratitude for the support provided to the Armenian Church and the Armenian people.

The Armenian Patriarch also emphasized the importance of inter-church dialogue and cooperation in overcoming the challenges facing humanity today. In this context, His Holiness emphasized the role of the Christian faith in shaping the spiritual and moral character of man, viewing care for creation as an expression of love and responsibility to God and neighbor.

In turn, Bishop Graham Ussher emphasized the centuries-old relations between the two Churches and inter-church cooperation, expressing his support for the Catholicos of All Armenians and the Armenian people.
