Yerevan and Bishkek became sister cities

ArmInfo. Yerevan and Bishkek have become sister cities. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced this on his Facebook page.

According to the mayor, the agreement establishing sister city relations between the two cities was signed during

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov's visit to Yerevan.

"This opens up new opportunities for cooperation in areas such as urban management, transportation, environmental protection, culture, sports, healthcare, and social protection," Avinyan noted.
