The transfer of laboratory data to the Armed system will be carried out in accordance with international standards.

ArmInfo. "National Operator of Electronic Healthcare" is the operator managing the Armed electronic health care system and the NGO "Association of Biomedical Equipment Specialists" signed a memorandum of understanding.

According to a statement received by ArmInfo from the national operator's press service, the signing took place as part of the "From Paper to Practice: Digital Quality Management for Armenian Medical Institutions" program.

The memorandum is aimed at monitoring the quality of laboratory data, transferring data from laboratory equipment, and laboratory information systems (LTI) managing laboratory work, in accordance with professional standards, to the Armed electronic healthcare system.

According to the memorandum, the "Association of Biomedical Equipment Specialists," which provides training in laboratory standards and capacity building, will train Armed employees.

"The goal is for employees responsible for this process to acquire the necessary professional knowledge and skills that will

contribute to both improving the quality of laboratory work and quality control, as well as "The availability of unified data in LTS and Armed," noted Avet Manukyan, Director of the National Electronic Healthcare Operator:

National Electronic Healthcare Operator CJSC is the operator managing the Armed electronic health system in Armenia. The operator operates within the powers granted to it by the concession agreement: the NGO "Association of Biomedical Equipment Specialists" unites specialists and organizations in the field of biomedical equipment and healthcare quality and provides training in laboratory standards.

As a reminder, on February 2, 2023, the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers approved the Concept for the Implementation of the IMS proposed by the Ministry of Health, according to which the system was planned to be implemented within the next four years. 2023 was considered a "preparatory" year, and 2024-2026 were designated as the "testing phase." with full implementation of the Navy in 2027. The first stage of the system's implementation was given on January 1, 2026.
