


ArmInfo. On October 9, RA National Assembly Speaker Ruben Rubinyan received Satu Koivu, Head of the European Union Civilian Monitoring Mission to Armenia.
According to the NA press service, issues related to ensuring regional stability and security were discussed during the meeting.
Ruben Rubinyan thanked the EU Monitoring Mission for its work, emphasizing the continuity and further development of the mission's activities.
Satu Koivu is a high-ranking officer in the Finnish police who has served as Head of the European Union Civilian Monitoring Mission to Armenia (EUMA) since March 2026. She replaces German officer Markus Ritter in this position. In Armenia, she leads the civilian observer mission, whose main task is patrolling, monitoring, and reporting on the situation on the Armenian side of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan to strengthen stability and security in the region.
