ArmInfo. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss progress in the bilateral partnership following the historic peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan signed by President Trump on August 8, 2025.

According to the U.S. State Department press service, the Secretary of State praised Bayramov's continued commitment to peace with Armenia. The Secretary and the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister discussed recent achievements in bilateral economic cooperation, including the announcement of several trade deals between U.S. and Azerbaijani companies.
