Armenia notes the importance of continuous development of trade and economic relations with France

ArmInfo. Armenia emphasizes the importance of the continuous development of trade and economic relations with France. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan stated this during a meeting with Florian Escudier, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia.

According to the government press service, congratulating the ambassador on his assumption of office, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that he will make a significant contribution to the further strengthening of Armenian-French relations and deepening the strategic partnership.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on key areas of the bilateral agenda, including a detailed discussion of ongoing cooperation in the fields of irrigation, water supply, road construction, and education. Particular attention was paid to the importance of the continuous development of bilateral trade and economic relations. In this context, Tigran Khachatryan praised the dynamics of bilateral trade in recent years and also touched upon the importance of deepening cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.
