Ahead of COP-17, the European Parliament will host a special preparatory event

ArmInfo. Ahead of the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP-17) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, which will take place in Armenia, a special preparatory event will be held in the European Parliament on September 30. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Belgium.

According to the source, the initiative is being implemented through the joint efforts of the Armenian Delegation to the EU, MEP Stefan Köhler, and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

The goal of the event is to strengthen cooperation with international partners and discuss key priorities for the upcoming global summit. -
