Erdogan Supports Peace Process Between Baku and Yerevan from UN General Assembly Podium

ArmInfo. During his speech at the UN General Assembly, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in the context of events in the South Caucasus, expressed support for peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"We hope that lasting peace will be established between Azerbaijan and Armenia.  We appreciate and support President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan's determination to find a solution," the Turkish leader said.

Erdogan also stated Ankara's determination to continue the process of normalizing relations with Armenia, media outlets report.
