Armenia to host 14th annual BRAF conference

ArmInfo. The 14th annual conference of the Black Sea Broadcasting Regulators Forum (BRAF) will be held in Armenia in September 2027.

According to the press service of the Armenian Television and Radio Commission, the corresponding decision was made at the 13th annual BRAF conference, which was held from September 16 to 18 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The conference, according to the source, brought together representatives of regulatory bodies from 12 countries. A delegation from the Armenian Television and Radio Commission participated in the event under the leadership of Commission Chairman Tigran Hakobyan.

"After hearing the reports of the participating countries, the Armenian Television and Radio Commission was nominated as the presiding body for 2027, which was unanimously approved." "Thus, the 14th annual BRAF conference will be held in Armenia in September 2027," the Commission reported.

It is noted that during the event, the Commission Chairman also met with Deniz Güler, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of Turkey (RTUK). According to the source, the parties discussed current trends and challenges in the broadcasting sector, as well as a number of issues related to the activities of regulatory bodies.
