The Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia presented preparations for COP-17 to his British counterpart.

ArmInfo. RA Environment Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan met with UK Secretary of State for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs Dame Angela Eagle in New York.

According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry, during the meeting, issues of further deepening Armenian-British cooperation within the environmental agenda, as well as joint work in the lead-up to the upcoming COP-17 conference, were discussed.

Matevosyan presented the priorities of the COP-17 Presidency and emphasized the active political and expert involvement of the United Kingdom in preparations for the conference.

He also emphasized the importance of continuing close coordination between the delegations of the two countries in the lead-up to COP-17 and during the conference.
