ArmInfo. Armenia's Anti-Corruption Court has extended the pre-trial detention of former National Assembly member Martun Grigoryan for another three months. This was reported by the politician's associate, Liza Gasparyan, head of the "Our City" opposition faction in the Gyumri City Hall.
The prosecutor believed that Grigoryan could exert pressure on witnesses in the case.
As a reminder, Martun Grigoryan was detained on August 13 in connection with a criminal case initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia for election-related crimes. On August 14, a court ordered his pre-trial detention for two months.
