



ArmInfo. The Armenian kyokushin karate team, which competed at the "All-Russian Youth Martial Arts Festival" in Anapa, won 16 medals.
As the press service of the Kyokushin Karate Federation of Armenia told ArmInfo, the Armenian team, led by Federation President Andranik Hakobyan and coached by sempais Andranik Stepanyan, Arman Margulov and Ruben Stepanyan, consisted of 17 athletes, who won a total of 2 gold, 3 silver and 11 bronze medals.
"The tournament winners were David Baghdasaryan and Areg Avakyan. The silver medals were won by Artur Kasemyan, Tigran Baghdasaryan and Hamlet Sogoyan. The bronze medalists were Narek Koloyan, Eduard Avakyan, Arman Karapetyan, Vladimir Grigoryan, Elen Yepremyan, Alisa Baghdasaryan, Narek Ghukasyan, Maria Jzmedzhyan, Khachik Babayan, Norvard Torosyan and Arsen Grigoryan," the federation reported.
According to the source, the Armenian team has taken part in this competition, which was held for the 18th time, for the third consecutive year.
